John's

Strictly speaking it's a wine shop, but they've recently added some bistro tables to give the option of 'drinking in'. Their wine and spirit choice is superb, you can order a glass from their menu, or you can buy a bottle off the shelf and just pay corkage. They also have beer, spirits and cocktails and they play good music and are so, so friendly.

The King of Prussia
Great quality, freshly cooked food with fabulous views across the Town Quay. They also do a mean Sunday Roast and a great selection of beers, wines and spirits.

The Ship Inn
Built by adventurer John Rashleigh in 1570, The Ship Inn is Fowey’s oldest pub. For more than four centuries the inn has been the focal point of our beautiful Cornish port – a haven for travellers, merchants, fishermen between hauls, and locals looking for a chat around the huge open fire.

Fairly newly opened, this gorgeous deli/coffee shop is causing quite a stir. Fabulous coffee and beautiful cakes and sandwiches are making this a big hit.

*****Pintxo (seasonal – check their website or Facebook page for opening information)
Pintxo is a must visit tapas and sherry bar tucked away on Fowey’s famous Esplanade, the seafront thoroughfare that leads from the town centre to Readymoney Cove. The food and drinks are delicious and the services so, so friendly. Pintxo is always on the top of our list to visit - it gets busy at peak periods and they don't take bookings, so be prepared to wait (but we promise you, it'll be worth it)
